Edinburgh Airport lies just 8 miles west of the city centre and is extremely easy to get to and from as there is an express bus (Airlink 100) in operation 24-hours a day, seven days a week. It runs from Waverley Bridge, near the train station, to Haymarket then on to the airport. The journey takes approximately 35 minutes. The cost of a ticket is approximately £3.50 single and £6.00 return. Taxis are also available from the designated rank outside the UK arrivals hall - the price to the city centre is around £15.
